Statutory Accounting & Tax Notice
TechSunset Books is software designed to facilitate business bookkeeping, GST-compliant invoicing, expense tracking, and management reporting. TechSunset Books does not provide legal, statutory audit, or chartered accountancy services. Tax liability figures, Input Tax Credit (ITC) summaries, and HSN/SAC classifications are computational aids and must be verified by your qualified tax advisor prior to statutory filings on the GST portal.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or utilizing TechSunset Books (“the Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are accessing the Service on behalf of a company or legal entity, you represent that you hold the requisite authority to bind that entity.
2. Platform Workspace Usage & Compliance
TechSunset Books is provided for corporate accounting workflows, tax invoicing, and ledger management. You agree to use standard commercial accounting practices and maintain compliance with Indian commercial regulations and Goods and Services Tax guidelines.
3. Invoicing, GST Computations and Statutory Returns
TechSunset Books assists Indian businesses in preparing invoices compliant with Rule 46 of the CGST Rules, 2017. However, the user remains solely responsible for ensuring that all tax invoices, credit notes, and e-way bills generated through the software accurately depict real commercial transactions and adhere to Central, State, and Integrated Goods and Services Tax Acts.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
The software interface, layout designs, calculation engines, branding, logos, and documentation comprising TechSunset Books are the proprietary intellectual property of TechSunset. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to utilize the platform in accordance with their subscription tier.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, TechSunset shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from business disruption, lost profits, tax penalties, or errors arising from improper user configuration or third-party network outages.
