TechSunset Books operates with client-side performance in your web browser. Business profiles, customer contacts, vendor bills, inventory line items, and financial transaction records you generate or edit are stored securely via HTML5 localStorage.

No accounting figures, GST identification numbers, or bank account details entered into this workspace are transmitted across the network to external unauthorized third-party tracking providers.

2. Production Data Protection & Privacy Principles

In commercial production deployments of TechSunset Books, data handling complies with applicable privacy laws, including the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023. Our production safeguards include:

• End-to-end encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and encryption at rest (AES-256).
• Role-based access controls (RBAC) ensuring only authorized company personnel view sensitive financial records.
• Strict tenant isolation preventing cross-organization data leakage.
• Zero monetization or selling of user accounting or customer data.

3. Control Over Your Data

You maintain full ownership of your business data. Within this workspace, you can manage, export to CSV, or restore default ledger baselines at any time by navigating to Settings → Restore Default Ledgers.

4. Cookies and Analytical Telemetry

We use strictly essential technical session mechanisms required to navigate the platform. We do not embed invasive cross-site advertising trackers or third-party data brokers.
